When Quartz Composite Is the Better Fit

Quartz composite sinks work well where buyers want a dense body, controlled color and a refined matte appearance. Their mass normally produces a softer sound than a thin stainless steel bowl when water or utensils contact the surface.

Quartz composite also supports top-mount, undermount and apron-front designs. Selection should account for cabinet width, countertop cutout, sink weight and the support method required beneath the basin.
